EI FAMILY DAY on Jan. 27, 2012
The Institution of Engineers ( India ), Kuwait Chapter organized it’s annual Family Day 2012 at Hotel Crowne Plaza , Farwaniya. This most awaited event of the year was very well attended by a large number of members with their families and guests. The day started with welcome note by Engr. Rishabh Nath Jain, General Secretary followed with the singing of National Anthem. Engr P Sundarajan, Chairman announced the day open with the inauguration of Science Club and Ladies Wing Exhibition. He also briefed about the special decoration to match with the theme of just concluded 53rd Republic Day. Day was full of activities for all ages. Children displayed their science models, art and creation out of waste in the children’s exhibition. Members of ladies wing displayed their creativity by displaying art of digital imaging, creation out of waste material, glass paintings etc. Magic Show by famous magician stole the heart of children and adults alike and mesmerized them all with his newly acquired magic skills. Most memorable item was the talent show put up by the children who surprised everyone with their talent in various cultural activities. Prizes were distributed to all participants and winners. A large number of raffle prizes cheered the crowd as almost everyone was winning somewhere. Day ended with a vote of thanks by General Secretary Engr Rishabh Nath Jain who thanked all members for their active participation and to all volunteers and executive committee members for joining hands in putting up this highly successful and memorable event. photos...



IEI FAMILY DAY 2011
The Institution of Engineers (India), Kuwait Chapter celebrated its Family Day 2011 on 17th Feb at Desert Spring Camp, North Kuwait from 9:00 am to Sunset at the serenade of the deserts.

Miles of glittering sand….cool breeze….fun and frolic….nonstop activities….delicious foods….hot events…DJ music and dance… interactive games… Based on the last year experience and considering the popular demand IEI is celebrating it's Family Day 2011 again at Desert Spring Camp, the biggest of its kind in Kuwait at Mutla Highland. A desert camp setting with magnificent Diwaniya tent, Multi purpose tents, Restaurant tent, Activity tents, Kiddies tents, Games tents, the Mosque tent, relaxing tents, Art & Craft tent, circular subterranean Diwanyia, Main stage, Kids stage etc. Children play area, Racing track, Basketball field, Volley ball field, Football court, Table tennis, Billiards, Darts, cards, Domino, Chess, Indoor Hockey all within a fenced secured area.

Art Works exhibition (by members), Face painting & Henna, Painting Demonstration, IEI Family cultural programme, Games, Magic Show, Barbeque and Camp fire.

IEI FAMILY DAY 2010
The Institution of Engineers (India), Kuwait Chapter celebrated its Family Day 2010 on 5th Feb at Desert Spring Camp, North Kuwait. It was a day filled with fun and enjoyment for all the family members.

The program started with a welcome speech by the Chairman Eng. Joseph Panicker. Large number of families and children participated in the program. Science Club Children, Ladies Wing Members and Engineers exhibited their paintings, charts, models, creative works and antiques etc. Children of all ages participated in Talent Show. They performed a Skit on title “Save Our Mother Earth”. They also participated in dance, instrument playing and a magic show. Different types of games were arranged for the participants in all age groups. Lots of indoor as well as outdoor games were organized. Gifts were given to all the children who attended the function and to all who participated in the art and craft exhibition. This was followed with the raffle and ended with Bonfire and Barbeque. The day was full of entertainment and active participation by all the members. IEI Kuwait Chapter made it an unique experience and a most memorable day in the diary of IEI Kuwait Chapter.
